Porsche On Track

Hi people
Just wondering if anybody has any information on Porsche On Track? As a 'paid up member', I'm looking to book a day with them, but the website seems to be doing strange things and I haven't been able to get a response from them.
Thanks in advance!
Suspect this is all tied in with the Easytrack closure. PoT were piggy-packing EzT track days with their calendar - I suspect that's why Dino was so keen to take over the EzT business - in order to satisfy bookings he'd already taken. Dino is the sole director of both PoT and TTE, both registered at the same address.Just wondering if anybody has any information on Porsche On Track? To add further confusion, although porsche-on-track.com is registered to PoT, porsche-on-track.co.uk is registered to one Mark Thomas.

If its an Oulton Park day you should read their calendar here:
http://www.oultonpark.co.uk/trackdays/car-calendar...
do you see PoT mentioned?
As Johnny says, PoT was pretty much run by Easytrack, which no longer exists. I know many others have tried to get some details from PoT and get no response, so looks very much like PoT are finished. There was a large group of us who were going to book onto their June day at Oulton, but have abandoned the idea.

Greig, there is an announcement on the PCGB 964RS forum about PoT. Have a read and you'll see that there is a bit more to it than the demise of Easytrack.http://www.oultonpark.co.uk/trackdays/car-calendar...

....and to the OP, there's a load of us in Porsches doing a trackday at Donington on Sunday 4th August.

Thanks for the replies and the info. Just had a look on the PCGB site and I've seen the details. Sorry to see that someone isn't well. I was looking at booking with them to mop up some money I'd spent booking the RS day that I wasn't able to attend so, (thankfully), I'm only out by the 'membership' element.

I see that and I already knew that situation, but with Tim's absence and the other "faces" having nothing to do with it, Easytrack (i.e. Marcus) was in control and has done the proverbial runner and no-one has seen or heard from him since....if thats not the case and someone else is now at the helm of PoT then I'd be interested to know.Might be an idea to bookmark this thread as Dino is supposedly going to post an explanation of what happened later today:

PoT website has been pulled
Why don't we have some input from people like Melv S and Paul H whose well know names within Porsche trackday circles was a major factor in enticing fellow enthusiasts to join. I know one of the Scottish crew was very enthusiastic about joining PoT and encouraged several people to join based on the fact that he " knew" some of the high profile names associated with it.
Not so high profile now , are they?

Since you asked, I posted this on PCGB Forum May 1st:
'Three days after the Autosport show Tim Newman was diagnosed with a brain tumour -while we looked at our options he took a couple of weeks out. Sadly he has not been back 'in' since and is receiving treatment now, but it has knocked him flat.
Marcus, ex of Easytrack, said he would look after the fort for a short time. Melvin Spear and Paul Howells were unhappy with the situation in POT, and asked to be officially declared 'Out' some time ago. Marcus built the website but also held/holds all the funds and database/control. Mel and Paul didn't want to be involved if Tim wasn't at the helm, plainly he is not at the moment and may never be.
Marcus himself put dates on the POT website without any consultation with anyone. We understand that the Zolder day will still go ahead under a private arrangement with the organiser.'

on behalf of a lot of members...questions for Melv /Paul... Was P-O-T in trouble before the RS day ?Was this a quick company set up for the gains of the popular RS day ? Why were we the paid up members last to know.... surely you must have known what was going on especially with Easy track... seems Marcus did another runner with all the deposits /memberships /fees from the RS day? So where is all the companies accounts ?
Guys -I can't add much more to my statement above -with Tim's illness and without Tim's input neither Paul or myself had the time or the contacts to run PoT, which was always to be Tim's baby, with our back up -we have our own businesses and lives to run. A lot of things were promised by MT in his 'caretaker' roll and never acted upon; seems we, along with others over the years were duped by MT's actions. Unfortunatley it wasn't until I was far into PoT that people came out of the woodwork to let me know what MT was really like.
During the set-up period it was expedient to use MT's contacts and website nouse, but never with the intention of keeping him on.......
In terms of 'membership', if my memory serves me correctly, one cold join and pay less for the first track day at Oulton or not join and pay the same total amount -so nobody has lost out AFAIK....
Sorry chaps, PoT started off really well with serious interest from Porsche Club, MSV and others to run shared Porsche only trackdays -now I can only keep my fingers crossed that Tim fights his way out of his illness.....
