Hi new to this just wandering if anyone doing a track day at brands hatch on 1st july morning session as ive only been riding a year and ive booked 1 for then on my cbr 600rr also wandering will there be slower people in my group as ive known fast riders just booking novice group for fun and also do they have fuel pumps there to fill up

The groups are generally mixed - i.e .always faster and slower even in a "novice" session. But don't worry, simply pull over to the right hand side, lift off and allow others to pass.

There are 2 petrol stations. A texaco only 1 minute down the road, or if you prefer Shell, probably about 10 minutes way.

The indy circuit isn't huge but allows you to get some good speed up (easily 120+ past the line). The hills and camber can catch you out so take it easy. Usually the timing is off and the marshalls control how many people are on track at any one point.

Nice 1 man thanks for the advice ive been trying to get used to blipping as droping from 120+ from 6th to 2nd or 3rd for a corner dont want my rear wheel locking but proving harder then looks , what rpm would u rev blip it to say you were coming from 120 from 6th to 5th to 4th etc sorry about sounding like newbie lol
