Yes, sorry, I meant 98.
Looks like I'll have to take the oldie then.

If Goodwood is at all stony, you will wish you had taken the Alfa anyway
If you have an iphone, download an app called Decibel10th. Its free and I have found it to be accurate.
Then get someone to sit in the car, warm it up and rev to 3/4 max revs and see what reading you get.
You need to hold the phone a metre away, 45 degrees both to the side and up from the tail pipe.
I cannot guarantee accuracy, but my car was 98 dB at Snetterton, and measures 98dB on that app.
98 is remarkably low. Most trackdays are between 101 and 105 dB

Goodwood has been 98dB for some time now, it's the classic problem of a load of pensioners in new builds complaining to the council, even though the track is likely older than them, let alone their houses. Chichester have just rolled out a 20mph speed limit for much the same reason. If Goodwood is at all stony, you will wish you had taken the Alfa anyway

98dB is probably about the loudest the iPhone could accurately measure, certainly can't deal with anything over 100dBThen get someone to sit in the car, warm it up and rev to 3/4 max revs and see what reading you get.
