does anyone know if the nurburgring is actually enforcing the door bar, roll cage padding and race seat regulations for public sessions that were announced earlier this year ?

Roll cage padding, definitely, seats and door bars, not always. Bit of a difficult one if you're having to make the trip over from the UK just to be turned away.
