Ok so i missed the Grand Prix day thats just gone due to not getting the time off work and now i'm looking at this one:

http://www.msvtrackdays.com/car-home/event-details...

Is a half day worth it? I've not done a GP day before and they are a lot of money.

Does anyone have any tips on the GP circuit?

Havent done the GP circuit for a few years now, but i did do the morning session last month on a sat, was the best track time i have had hands down,

Maybe due to the low numbers, but was certainly worth it in my eyes.

GP is another league from the Indy - fantastic - expensive for a reason - I will be back next week with RMA - the open pit MSV day looks good value - plenty of good footage on YouTube but if you do book ensure you get a session of tuition - it's a long circuit with a few unsighted brilliant corners so well forth getting some tips

I'll be there on 25th too - not driven it before, so will be getting some tuition. What will you be in, and I'll try and say hi?

Always pretty chaotic first thing with the paddock being so small especially if there lots of the racers with massive trucks - last time i was there it was just before the Aston festival and they had maybe 30 race teams - hopefully next week will be a shade better - I'll look out for you- if you fancy a passenger ride just shout

Only driven it once - on the GoldTrack day that's just gone and I gave a passenger ride to someone who said he was 40th reserve for the day!

It was well worth it and has been said, the GP section is so different. I found the GP section faster than I expected as you can carry so much more speed through the turns than I first thought.

First right hander is fast sweeper staying off the kerb on the apex (as it's a big one). 2nd and 3rd right handers take more kerb on apex (some I saw were almost 4 wheels off tarmac on 3rd RH!). Then LH over kerb again back towards Indy/paddock.

Long way for me but - Lovely!

As FlyingTrotter said - Paddock was chaos with all race lorries. But I didn't know if that was just due to all the Aston Martins. We should have allowed more time to get parked/sorted with trailer etc - so I suggest get there early.

I`ll see you there then FT, I`m coaching in a VW Cup car.

Do love the GP circuit, adds a lot to the already technical Indy section.
