Booked my first Trackday in my 7 for Blyton this Wednesday, just had a look at the weather and it looks like heavy rain is due frown

I wonder if that is why there is only 26 people booked according to javelins site.

Should make things interesting. Any tips for a BEC 7 track newbie in the wet? (no roof or screen)

I suppose at least there should be plenty of space and track?

Is there any undercover areas at blyton for parking while not on track?

Anyone from here going?

There's a hangar that should be open. My top tip is to take a golf umbrella so if you do bed to park the car outside you can leave the umbrella up which stops the GRP seats filling up with water and a subsequent wet arse.

Well even though it was rather wet it was immense fun, especially after lunch when the track dried for about an hour.

Tom Onslow Cole was even there showing the edited of fast car how to drive in a Miltek Golf R.

Then just before lunch a big dyno jet lorry arrived and off popped Frank Wrafhalls BTCC car popped off for a few laps during lunch.

Will deffinatly be going back, worth the 3.5 H drive each way.

Did have a couple of spins, and very sideways moments as there was litterly no grip when it was very wet.
