CVH or something a little more interesting / less rubbish? I have fond memories of my XR2 but it didn't sound like that!

It's still just the standard 1.6 cvh. The exhaust is near enough straight through though the back box is a piddly little thing

Looks like you had a lot of fun! It's all about conservation of momentum.

Good effort!

I managed a sub 10 in March with grit on the track and snow on the grass, bonus was zero traffic!
There was a lunatic lapping on a Triumph Daytona 675R even though it was -2.

Jealous - have always wanted to go there but I'm a little hesitant about banging into a wall, or something more expensive!

I love watching a good lap of the ring! Nice work.

Meaning to go for years, with any luck next summer, if I get close to 10 mins in the Tuscan ill be overjoyed. Already decided its going to be a "get round in one piece" experience for me though! smile

It is an amazing place, this was my 5th trip out there and I've done 60 laps now. It was only last year that I felt confident that I knew the track. You can still have fun and be safe if you don't know the track. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Brilliant video ! I concur. It's addictive. Took me 10 years to finally do it last May but will be doing twice a year from now on.

Whenever I see a Mk2 XR2 it makes me fondly remember mine (and start trawling PH and eBay). Bought after I came to my senses with regards to lancia and before I got my first 944.

Prices are high now, I think, for anything other than a basket case early trim model...

Yeah they aren't cheap anymore. Plus I'm not going to even start adding up the amount I've spent on it :-/

I enjoyed watching that - never been but feel familiar with track through playing Gran Turismo *shame*.

I suspect you made it look easy.
