Best, prob direzzas, then khumo v70, cups, federal fz, then 888, then of your list, I've run the older rs pre rsr & are ok but not in the league of the above,more a road tyre + a bit more track grip than the more focussed track tyres above, the rsr is a grippier tyre I belive, the rs2 is well rated by the mx5 lot but not known in on an e36 & more in the road tyre + a bit again is my thoughts.

Always go for a trackday / road slick
It depends on the car to what's best
For a bmw (quite heavy) you would probably best go for the yoko but ideally Dunlop DG03
888s are awesome but suit light cars we have found
They were fine on our track car but dropped off after 8-9 laps, the dunlop a hold on to 17-18 before starting to squids, equally on our friends track car the 888s were good but didn't suit the weight
