great, trying to race (albeit sprint) in the wet with 500bhp and kumho v70 tyres is going to be "interesting"...
time to turn the boost controller off and just have some fun, hopefully not end up in the armco like earlier this year ://

I'll be there in black E46 M3. It'll be my first time in the car and I'm racing in it the following week, also at Snetterton.

Fingers and toes crossed it stays dry!

Was a very wet day and the BMW 328 with LSD proved tricky to drive with its auto box occasionally down shifting mid corner to really upset the cars balance.. Alas it was leant to be by a mate as my car broke down...

Some videos from the day that I recorded but not me driving.

Brilliant pictures smile

The weather certainly proved a challenge, I enjoyed watching plently of oversteer moments when following others!

over on the sprint track it was a bit iffy, three cars ended up in the tyre barrier on the first sighting lap! pretty much everyone else was going sideways at some point too

my own car developed a fault, the wastegate was sticking so the minimum boost i could run was 1.8 bar! i tootled around for a bit, span out a couple of times, did some awesome 4WD drifting around the 180 degree bend before hamilton, then parked up and went home to shower for the end of season party at the hotel in norwich smile

are you racing in the CCSV (or similar acronym lol!)? ive had a look at that and quite fancy it, but im not sure if my car qualifies under the silhouette rule due to the rear wing and front bumper mods...

CSCC Modern Classics is the series I'm in. More info can be found here -

Was a great day at Snetterton, first time there and really liked the track. I'm still unsure of the line on the last corner though, I generally stayed in the middle then went tight before the left hander. Managed a mid 1:25 with a bit of traffic and 2 up, not sure if I should be happy or upset about that!

Not the best camera angle... Quickest lap at around 10:30.
