Bedford on the 30th November anyone?

Great! I'm hoping for dry cold weather, which is what is forecast
.
Going with 2 friends one in Red Mx5 the other in a 08MY Scoob STi.
Wish I could have taken my MX5 Race car but it's having a refresh for next years season!
Looks like I'll be using an Orange Fiesta ST to play with on the day

What a fantastic day! No queuing and no red flags. The car's owner had one or two interesting moments (with me in the passenger seat) and I had great fun in the car when driving. A 2k car with c. 120bhp overtaking most things out there - hard not to enjoy it! The ph M3 evo managed to get me though during my last stint of the day. Didn't help only being able to get 105 on the straight, but 90 through the chicane meant time gained. Next stop - Goodwood on Friday.
Really enjoyed the day in my blue bmw e36 323i coupe, its first run out on a track, and apart from some brake fade - no running issues & lots of fun trying to mix it up with faster cars!
lesson of the day... tyres, federal rsr's are on the shopping list, as recommended by several other BMW drivers there, I was running primewells on the front & avon zz3 on the rear (235x40x17 all round) = plenty of understeer!

Great day! Used the Focus in the morning and Fiesta in afternoon!
Fiesta more suited for the job and felt much more nimble, but the Focus was fun all the same.
Had good battle with a grey Caterham toward the end of the day, before I left in the Focus. Left me for dead on the straights which was frustrating!
Backed it into Tower (The right hander by the pits i think) in 4th gear on the lock stops a few times for fun, hoping marshall would just think it was a mistake

Does someone have a video of a spinning white Mx5?
Oh I really hope so as it was me. What a place to lose the back end, and run out of talent !I was told I didn't need to be as delicate and could get away with a lot more than in the TVR, may have over cooked it a little there though !
Really good fun day, trying to drive the pants off the MX5.

Yes! I was in the white MR2 and we have the spin on vid - my mate (the MR2's owner) has the vid but also has the slowest internet in the world - he should have it uploaded in the next day or two.
It looked properly impressive I have to say
Brill, thanks I look forward to itIt looked properly impressive I have to say

Still could have been worse, the heart rate of the porsche driver that lost it on the 2nd part of the back straight must have only just returned to normal. They must have gone round 4 times.... special !
