Discussion
I was there on Saturday (in the bog standard Mini) for my first ever trackday. As my first experience I'd have to say the day was perfect - a frosty start so we were under yellows for the first half hour, no queueing at any point in the day and friendly organisers. It was very quiet, I think they said 40ish cars booked, regularly managing a few laps without seeing another car, especially in the late afternoon. There was a few red flags but in fairness I think the problem was how boggy the grass was - I didn't feel short changed for the loss of track time either. My only criticism was a lack of blue flags - spent 3 complete laps sat behind an FTO who refused to let anyone passed.
The day's certainly whet my appetite for track driving, and looking for my next day.
