Anyone else at this day?
Rather eventful. I am still amazed that some one managed to crash their brand new Jaguar (XJ or XF sport something) on the sighting lap. It looked like a write off and the session was paused for a few hours as they had to go to hospital. Hopefully nothing too serious as I am sure the pain to the wallet was going to be extensive!

While in mid summer when the weather is good the circuits around the country are all sitting empty and unused between professional events limited to race prepped cars and race qualified drivers, that everyone has to drive to on over regulated roads and then just boringly sit and spectate at all day. When they could be organising some Top Gear type sprints based on the idea of the ordinary driver in their whatever priced road car in decent weather conditions.

I was there (boxster) - very slippery, with many cars going off the circuit, and a few crashes. As the day passed patches of dry track appeared, and made it more dangerous as the speeds increased, but it was still very easy to have a moment at reasonably high speed.
Yeah the afternoon was interesting. Dry spots leading to that extra bit of speed leading to wet exits was really challenging. The whole day I ran with partial DSC but I tried one lap with it totally off and span it (Blue BMW 1 series) at Agostini in front of two Porcheses. I guess one of them was you MisterDJ. Probably have some good shots of your car from my splitter mounted GoPro.I was also there,C63 AMG,I left about 1300 though. VERY slippery and it was the first time I had tracked the AMG, but I took a brave pill and turned the Traction control off and was very impressed with how the car behaved... If anybody has any pictures I would be grateful
Good day but shame about the stoppage in the morning, hope the driver was ok.
I think you span on Montreal as well, Im sure I came round and saw you facing me? :-)

Yeah that was me. What was interesting about that was I had stability on and the instructor with me said I should try getting on the power earlier. The car broke away so quickly not even the stability control could recover it!
I think I have some footage of your car. I remember having a good laugh seeing your Merc drift sideways in great fashion in my rear view mirror as you came out of Montreal. I will check the footage when I get home.
