Yep, a couple of us are going. I will be in my yellow clio 200 or in a 182 if mine is not fixed in time and my mate will be in a scooby wrx. Hope it is dry.

Isn't the number of cars on that list abit excessive?

Will be there in a silver boxster. Forecast is looking good, fingers crossed it stays dry.

Got some better brake pads (DS2500) so hopefully won't get the nasty steering judder I was getting under braking with budget pads last time.

80 cars? It's quite a big track, I would think that's probably not too bad?

I wont be tracking my car until march or late feb at this rate, but we might pop down (after putting up some shelves!) for a wander round the paddock and lunch at tyrrels.

its our 1 year anniversary on sunday, im sure she wont mind smile

That was a good day in the end. Did not enjoy the morning so much as the tyres I have on the Atom coupled with my lack of talent meant it was like a pig on rollerskates in the wet.

However once it dried up it was great fun apart from one little spin near the end which was a bit of a brown trouser moment.

All in all good fun but prefer 100% dry running.

I was in the atom for BigBen's spin and can confirm it was not the most enjoyable moment of the day, facing back down the main straight and watching cars narrowly avoid us at 70+ mph as they turned in for the first corner.

Otherwise good times, bit damp in the morning but pretty nice in the afternoon.

Good fun day. Our £275 high mileage 325 e46 didn't miss a beat, just an apex or two.

really enjoyed the day in my e36 323 coupe, wet start to the day, dry line by the end, plenty to learn on my first run at Snetterton.

i tried to convince myself i could run ok with a near slick rear tyre set up in the morning, wrong,i was locking the rears on downshift and drifting every where, as a result the front wheel drive crew were much quicker and more stable. will try and get some vids edited and on you tube later.

much more fun once i'd put some proper tyres on.... and with a dry line rwd came back into play

a few things were annoying -
lots of red flags, especially as the circuit was green, it needed a lot of cleaning.
Queuing - my go pro got bored and switched itself off in the queue for some reason!
slightly over zealous drivers after lunch - did you not listen to the briefing, no overtaking on the brakes side by side into corners....

looking forward to getting the car serviced before a spring run, maybe Donington or Brands?! biggrin

I should have put my better tyres on sooner, and turned the traction control off earlier!
