My only frustration was not being allowed to have any fun, they were such perfect conditions for it.. It would be so much better if she'd relax a bit!

Really sad to see the type r on its roof.. Assume no one was hurt though ..

Really impressed with the MPSS tyres in the wet, haven't really used them in those conditions before.. They were really good last week in the dry too

Fingers crossed will be in the old Datsun for the next one

I was thinking the same, black flagged almost immediately for 'drifting'! The conditions were perfect for learning a bit of car control. The marshals reasoning was that if people are seen to be sliding around, others with less talent start trying the same thing which leads to a lot more spin offs. Fair enough I guess.

Massive shame about the CTR rolling, what a rubbish way to end the day!

Was very slippy on the Michelin Cup tyres. Such a shame we never managed to get a few dry laps before the heavens opened. Decided i was bored by 12, so headed on home.

Yeah, that was me :-) Thanks for the kind compliments.
The cups really aren't that great in those conditions though, so was just trying to keep it on the black stuff, lol. What were you driving?

Well kudos to you for still getting out there on Cups in those conditions! We were in the little Mk1 MX5, green with tan top. Were going to bring the 996 along but would have been too worried about binning it in that weather to be honest!

I thought recognised you when you arrived in the afternoon, in the Black BMW.
I was expecting the GTR.

Like the drift later in the afternoon, coming on to the main straight.
I still have the Smart.
