370z as a track day car
Discussion
For a track car, definitely not.
Cost is one issue, especially when the 350Z is so similar and arguably better all round. As a track car, both are miles too heavy so you have the costs of brakes and tyres to cope with.
However, and this comes from numerous trackdays in my old 350Z, they are tremendous fun if you're happy with the costs. Great balance, more than enough power, and with a few chassis tweaks (bracing, suspension add-ons for adjustment) they're really are superb. Mine was a 80/20 road/track car though, and I would have chosen a hundred different other cars if I was buying a car solely for track use.
You'd better feel really happy with your purchase though when a standard S1 Elise comes haring past at the second corner!
