Snetterton 10th April - Thursday
Discussion
i will be in this rather distinctive car:

the day will be mostly devoted to testing suspension and ARB settings rather than outright speed but feel free to ask for a pax lap (goes for anyone really).
the last person i took on a lap screamed at the amount of speed i was able to carry into Agostini corner.

Fingers crossed they'll be some reasonable track time in the evening.
They can go either way, lots of stoppages due to over enthusiasm or seamless for 2 and half hours.
Out of the 3 I did last year there, only one was hampered with closures and ironically that was the quieter of the 3 evenings too.

well that was an "interesting" day.
who's car set on fire during the first sighting lap?
i dont think i have ever seen quite so many red flags during one trackday as there were yesterday!
my day was quite troubled, with a blowout on my racing tyres after about 3 laps which meant i had to use my comedy maxsport remoulds for the rest of the day.
apologies to all the people i held up at times, i was doing my best to keep out of the way during various suspension setup laps
roll on blyton at the end of april, and a new gearbox ASAP!!

Evening session had three or four red flags too, ranging from the guy who binned his Pug on the second corner of his first lap proper, to the MR2 Turbo that isn't now.....and he left his oil all over the track before pulling off in a cloud of smoke.
Good job I was wearing the brown trousers when I tried some last minute braking into Oggies without knowing about the oil......
