Just booked my first ever track day this Sunday at cadwell park on the gsxr 750. My tyres have about 3mm left, michelin 2ct's will they last most of the day as a novice?

Bumping this for you.
Not a biker myself, but my Toyo R888 medium compound track tyres have lasted 4 car track days with less than 3mm, driven on the limit. Hope this helps.
Cadwell is one of my two favourite tracks - and a great bike track. Take your time, get into it gradually, and have a great time.

I came to Car days from Bike days and have done thousands of laps on various bikes from Minitwins to a full house GSXR 1000 race bike. I assume that you are measuring the 3mm in the centre of the tread and since you will be spending time on parts of the tread you ususally don't use on the road, I am pretty sure that all will be well. Cadwell is one of the greatest circuits anywhere for a bike, so treat it carefully, ride within your abilities and if there is any instruction available, take advantage of it early in the day, because it will make a massive difference.
The only downside is that track days are addictive, so start budgeting to do loads more! Enjoy.
