I've got a Clio 182 for trackdays (road use will be required as will MOT) polling for thoughts on which suspension to choose?

What's your budget?

Higher budget (1k+) people tend to use AST as the suspension of choice.

Sub 1k people tend to go for Bilstein or KW v2.

Also, bear in mind that if your car has the cup pack fitted, the suspension spacing will be different, so make sure you buy the correct fitment.

B14's here too, the Bilsteins work really well on our Clio.

I've also used the H&R kit, well worth considering.

I've just spoken to Bilstein and it's pretty stiffly sprung so sounds ideal 400lb on the front and 285lb on the rear. sounds like a good compromise to me. time to get ringing for a good deal!

I would have thought standard shocks with Eibach Sportline springs (under £200) would do the job just fine...no?

Well it didn't quite go to plan the kit was the incorrect somehow it'd been boxed up with the wrong springs. The supplier www.bilsline.co.uk is to be recommmended though as they got bilstein to resolve it quickly and I will have the right parts Monday.Pics to follow

I just have Cooksport springs on cup dampers and it peformed well at Blyton, could just about cock a wheel but I suspect that I need some stickier tyres now.

Too late to help the OP who looks to have made a good choice, but I bought a Gaz set up and had them fitted. 1000 road miles and a couple of track days later, one rear shock had lost all its oil, the other was weeping badly and both needed rebuilding. Not what you might call a good result!
