MK Indy R at Cadwell video
Discussion
Been getting to grips with GoPros and PowerDirector 12 video software lately.
This is my latest effort from a recent track day at Cadwell.

Yes - all good, transported down and back from Edinburgh to keep miles down!
Ahh, Goodo. Cadwell is tight for a beastie like that. Don't think I would take my 458 there.I mustn't have been on track at the same time as you though. All that passed me all day was an Atom. I'm sure your Pork would have been up my chuff on the straights!

Cool video! I like the way the "main" camera is so low down at the front, gives a good perception of speed. What mount did you use? Did you use GoPros for both internal/external shots? This is my latest effort from a recent track day at Cadwell.

How are you finding Power director to work with? I use that myself for editing up my track videos with GoPro/Mobius HD camera feeds, its a great bit of software.
I think this section should have a "track day video" thread :-)

Yes the pork was quick in the straights - 130 and 140 for the two straights I think. Car felt really suited to the circuit TBH, much better than round Oulton where the 458 is in its own.I mustn't have been on track at the same time as you though. I don't track it tbh. Prefer the raw nature of the MK on track, and £1200 for a replace not engine too. ;-)I'm at oulton on the 8th. :-)

I used a GoPro roll bar mount for the one mounted on the suspension down low. I have two triple sucker ones too which you can't pull off at all, plus a single sucker one I only use in the cockpit. The Indy also has a couple of the stick on mounts on it, one to the rear and one on the side. How are you finding Power director to work with? I only use the sucker ones when doing road films in my road cars (euro trips etc).
Power Director is really good, nice and easy to use. I use photoshop for titles though, I find powerdirector a bit limited in that respect and whilst they do a graphics package I was already a photoshop user. I'm still learning though. I need to get a gimbal to get decent panning shots.
Really admire Petrolicious's videos on You Tube, very classy. Next I'm going to try and do a video like theirs for my 458 spider and one for my Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint 1300.
Simpler video covering just one lap of Oulton Park yesterday. When I get time Ill make a longer video with other views from other cameras I had mounted.
