Driving a caterham 7 for the first time on track today and the rear pads are very low... how much of a problem will this be?

I can probably swap them over but would rather wait and do discs & pads at the same time

Personally I wouldn't even consider a track day without perfect brakes.

Even during the day I check the pad remaining at every stop & always travel with at least one full set of spares.

What is very low, 2mm? Its not uncommon for Caterhams to wear rear pads quicker than front.

Brakes are definitely an area NOT to put off changing, especially ahead of a track day. as above, a few quid and peace of mind's a no brainer
