Is it possible to go through both Carousel's on the 'Ring without taking out the sump.

I was there in July, but drove around the top each time as I was concerned I'd whack the sump on my R300 (13" wheels).

Plenty of people do, but you never know how standard any given car is at the 'ring so possibly a function of suspension choice and how much speed you try to carry.

I'm sure cars even lower than an R300 do ok.
Defo avoid late entry or early exit and the tarmac is quite flat and even

When we took our R300 on 13" we drive around the outside. Sump clearance was 45mm.

Perhaps worth asking Bookatrack? IIRC they've run trackdays at the ring where you can rent their Caterhams, and presumably they'd be set up to run through the Carousel "properly".

We didn't have any issues with sump clearance on our R300 race cars, but after 2 hard days rental at the ring they were f**ked and needed a couple of days work and a shed load of parts to get them right again! Stay off the kerbs or better still, stick to Spa!

I'd have thought the general bumpiness would be more a Caterham issue than just the entry and exit of karrousel. For my car, the issue isn't the entry and exit, it's the pounding it takes on the way through. Suspension bashing, tyre hitting arch liner, general shaking about biggrin and that's only on a Skoda Fabia....
