I'll be there and looking forward to it, first time out on the GP circuit - wanted to do it for some time! Feel free to pop and say hello (white m135i), last time out and donington meeting up with a few PHers made it a pleasant day.

Yep, red Porsche 924. Forecast is dry. It's with Circuit Days in case anybody else wants to book. No idea if the day is full yet.

I'll be there in the Z4C, and staying in the Snoozebox tomorrow evening. I'll be hanging around with the Westfield guys, as a friend has a Megabusa, and is going with them. See you there!

I am in Snoozebox tomorrow night and at the track day in a 981 Cayman with PH sticker.

Planning on eating in Silverstone village so may see you there or on the day

Will be there tomorrow. Blue RX7 V8 and a couple of M3's.

Just found out the garages are all spoken for, so may be on the scrounge for a quiet corner for tools…

It was a good day today, nice to meet all you chaps for a chat. The weather was great but there was very cold wind blowing through my pit garage so had to spend more time on track wink
The drive back home was far more dangerous than the track day with the usual wallies making themselves a nuisance reminding me why I prefer race tracks to the roads.
Bring on the next one driving

Yep - was a really good day! Nice to meet you, have to say your GT3 was lovely sperm

First time on a day with circuit days and was really impressed - will definately use them again!

Had a bit of a close shave going into luffield following a lotus that spun - managed to take evasive action onto the grass, followed by straight into the pits to change brown trousers boxedin

That was an impressive miss how did you come to the decision to go left or right rolleyes nice video clip. Glad everything worked out ok for you. The Lotus did pack a punch it even left my sons Teg for dead bow god knows what that was running.
We had a moment in the GT3 around the left hand Farm Curve, there was a car dawdling round on the right hand side and I lifted. The GT3 snapped into oversteer but I managed to catch it and also went for a change of underpants laugh

The front was pretty loaded up so I knew if I'd hit the brakes or lifted the back end would've come round and I'd most likely go sideways into him, if I'd gone left to stay on the track I'd have under-steered into him so the only option was the grass and to pray the M3 wasn't in my blindspot frown

Where are you off to next? I was going to wait until the new year but tempted to sneak one in over the xmas period.. smile

Out of interest, did you even have time to think about the M3 in our blind spot? People always talk about events like this unfolding in slow motion, but how much of it is just instinct / experience?

It didn't seem like slow motion to be honest, it was more like a split second and before I knew it I was on the grass. My initial thought was assessing how to avoid the lotus, the M3 was my after-thought once I'd committed to leaving the track but that would almost certainly been less of a collision than hitting the stationary lotus head on. Looking back it would have been really nasty T-boning him into the drivers side at speed frown

Not doing any more in the GT3 this year as it needs new brakes and some exhaust clamps so will be busy playing at mechanics. My son and I are off to buy a Radical Tuesday but this needs a shuttle trailer and we wont have this sorted until early next year. Hope to see you around then, maybe another Silverstone smile
