Anyone there today,
I had a great day shaking down the turbocharged MX5, superb day with fantastic weather and some good driving out there, nor reds and only the occasional yellow.
Some interesting cars too, Zafira GSI leaning like a double decker busclap Merc CLS throwing some shapes, and a big 'ol Mustang clinging on round the corners, respect to those drivers..

Change of front pads at lunchtime for me and the backs ran out about an hour from time, interesting journey home for surebiglaugh

I was there in the black with orange stripes Caterham 1.6 Superlight. It was a busy day, but well managed and a lot of fun. My friend had a lucky escape in his S1 Lotus Elise Sport 160 when it appeared that his engine blew up at the end of the main straight; luckily it turned out to be a leaking drive shaft gaiter; although there was a small fire, no serious damage was caused.
After lunch it was a lot less busy, which was clearly better. I heard you going out in the afternoon and wondered what the metallic noise coming from your car was, and then saw you back in the puts a short time later examined the rear.

Hi. New to the forum, been lurking for a long time, thought I better join.
I was at Bedford yesterday on my first track day. I was in a silver Audi TT-S
Please accept my apologies if I got in any ones way.
Had a great day, really enjoyed it. Hopefully next time I will be a bit quicker

no need to apologise, i didnt see any bad discipline out there yesterday, i remember seeing your TT out there, going well by all accounts.
i was having a great time up until around 3pm when my rear brakes started to protest and jumped off the ride!!!
Saving grace really as the last hour or so is generally the most frantic.

Hope you enjoyed your day and are bracing to have your wallet emptied at regular intervals, tis very addictive!!

Luckily it had the brakes to match the speed , they probably cost 5 times as much as my whole car !

Seems like everyone was taking pictures of the Ferrari. Came past me on the back straight at warp speed :-)
