Excellent day at Croft

Had my first TD at Croft with Javelin yesterday. Absolutely top day, I didn't really know much about Croft but I thought it was a great circuit. Flat but with a great mix of twiddly corners and fast swoopy bits. A good friendly mix of people and cars, and perfect weather as well. Particularly enjoyed following one of the 2cvs through sunny in/out, leant right over, front wheels going left and right as he held it on the edge of grip, top stuff And had a great few laps following a guy in a Nissan GTR who was right on it.
I did have a bit of a tank slapper towards the end of the day coming out of Tower, which I just managed to hang on to, but no problems otherwise. I'll be going back there for definite.

I was there as well and it was a fantastic day! We have different views on the GTR though; his track etiquette needs a lot of work.

All in all it was a fantastic day and well run. I got a couple of videos, not sure if I got you in any of them. I don't think we were on track much together?

No I don't think we were...saw you maybe once or twice on warm up/cool down laps I think, but that was it.
There was no-one else about when I saw the GTR so I guess I didn't see any issues...shame. The only trouble I had was with the guy in the Atom who I tried to get past for 2 laps. Got alongside alongside him through the esses and there was no sign of lifting off or otherwise helping me through...so I just backed off and came in before anything silly happened.
Other than that, as you say, seemed really well run, courteous and safe all round.

It's funny how track timings work out. I was never on track with the Atom at all, which is a shame! I've always been intrigued to see how fast they are.
