There have been many threads about this. Search for VNUK. The police don't care when you get burgled, so the idea that they would attend a racing bump is ludicrous!

Can't see the police attending I get that bit, but really to even think of the idea for 3rd party insurance on lawn mower's and cars in meusem's is really rather silly, and Brussels wonder why Brexit is happening.

If you read the reason why this was brought to consultation, you can see it makes a lot of sense - uninsured vehicles causing damage and injury with the owners hiding behind it being on 'private property'.

Surely the sensible solution here is TDO's being able to use a waiver (similar to what they already do) for participants to be exempt from this proposed 3rd party rule and we carry on as normal?
