Anyone here going? I'm there with my brother in a CSL.

What's the GP circuit like? Never driven it.

I'll be there with my Caterham; there are several a other miscreants from these parts coming along as well.

GP circuit is fantastic: I think you'll enjoy it much more than the Indy in the CSL.

There seems to be about 80+ cars in 3 groups on this day.....I may have to go and play on the gridlocked M25 to get some room.

Lovely, fast, should see 150+ in the GT3 on the GP straight, but be aware it can bite in places- had David Yu- evo bloke, run out of ability & gravel trap his 355 just in front of us a few yrs back.

We do have another PH'er looking to drive on this day, but just missed out.
If anyone knows of a vacant place...please let me know. Thanks.

Hello Clubsport, I have a place available for Brands on 22nd May as my scooby is still gonna be in the garage for mods. I was informed of your search for a place by Calypsoelise on the Easytrack forum where I've been trying to find a buyer, as although the 22nd's fully booked now, the Easytrack offices are closed today to try and sell this place to someone on the reserve list. How's best to get in further contact with you? Regards KennyH.....

Feel free to offer and ask for a passenger ride in my Tuscan -after I get my instruction that is, first time in the GP circuit for me too- Would love to fetch a ride in the CSL or the GT3!

Paul, did that place go? Murph7355 was looking for a spare one, but it may be too late now.

See you all there tomorrow - even managed to squeeze my set of ACB10s into the car - let's hope its dry enough to use them

Nice to meet you Vas (Mercurius). Lovely car, just hope you got the lights fixed ok.

Had a great day. But what on earth came over the VX guy; crashing on familiarisation????

And shame about the RX-8. Topsy turvy at the bottom of Paddock

Hey Sam, had a lovely day and was great to meet you and your brother...stay in touch (e-mail me)...on my way to TVR...probably a silly short circuit issue but still irritating...

All best wishes,

Vassilis

Did I understand you correctly, the RX8 did a flip at paddock? I was watching in the morning and everyone seemed very well behaved and sensible.

Yup,

Black RX-8 ended up on its roof at the bottom of paddock. Don't know how it happened. Saw it in the (parking) paddock later, bust windscreen and every panel looked, for want of a better word, shagged.

I suspect it went something like this:

1. Here we go, I like this corner.
2. Ooh bit too fast.
3. better lift off.
4. This isn't working, I'm effing sideways.

Quickly followed by 2 wheels digging in the gravel and hey presto. A bust car.

I didn't think that it was you I was just expressing genuine sadness that some poor chap/lady went out for a great day in their pride and joy and went home feeling somewhat p*ssed off. It goes to show that whilst many of us wouldn't be without track day adrenalin rushes, the whole business carries an inherent risk - but then again that's what makes it so interesting.
