Looking for a recommendation for a good digital tyre pressure gauge. Would prefer one that is reasonably accurate - read horror stories about how inaccurate some of them can be.

Also, do any of you use a pyrometer for track days?

To be honest, I wouldn't go digital. Is that "18psi" 18.00 or 18.49? A dial shows you much more.

I would recommend the ones with a an extension tube, and integral pressure release button (and not a 'sticky' one). Press it on, and bleed down the pressure - with realtime data. Much easier. I do like the Longacre ones (available at DT and others), which are available up to 30 & 60psi.

As to a pyro, I have used one while setting up a mate's Se7en for sprints. It was quite useful, even for a novice, to assess pressure, camber and roll bar settings. We just used a cheap pocket IR one. You do need four hands to measure and record everything quickly. That means:
- A mate to crawl over the car
- A drawn up chart to write into (on paper that's not blowing in the wind
