Had a lovely 4 car supercar experience bought for me by my wife for Christmas, however, i jumped at the chance to swap it for a day at Blyton, and have looked at various Youtube videos on the track.

Any advice for this specific track, please? or any advice in general?

I am taking my 1996 Volvo 850R estate, AP racing brakes all around, SRF brake fluid, PS4s.

Mega excited for it next month!

Thanks

Brilliant fun track if a little short. Good starter circuit that has a few different possible layouts. Food is good, open paddock with lots of space, you will enjoy it.

lots of run off, be unlucky to hit something.
Take extra fuel and go steady. See if there is an instructor available. Have fun.

Much appreciated - car will be well prepared before I go, oil and filter change and a thorough once over. Taking some tools, trolley jack and a spare set of wheels etc. Is there usable spectator banking?

Appreciate the replies, thanks

Yes, there is exactly that. A raised banking with good views over the flat circuit.

Just be mindful of brakes and tyres. I suggest that you aim for around 36psi hot in the PS4's. This will help stop the tyre from rolling over.

Blyton is car demanding track if you're pushing on (lots of heavy braking, little to no time to cool down, and lots of long left-handers absolutely mullering your front right tyre)

Great advice again - thanks, will keep an eye on pressures and levels throughout and I have the utmost of mechanical sympathy. The brakes are incredible especially paired with the J-Hook discs and Carbotech pads. I will be well within my skill set as well! I do not think I’m bloody Rickard Rydell!!

Deceptively tricky track - it's only short, but there's a lot of skill in stringing a good lap together. And being so short there's very little breathing room.

As mentioned it's very heavy on brakes and tyres, if you can fit some brake cooling it would be helpful.

As above 5/6 pretty heavy braking events, if nothing else bring spare pads & make sure you do an (off the brakes) full cooling down lap before coming in.
