Check with the track day organisers about window sucker mountings. The last 'day i went on these kind of mountings werent allowed by the organisers.

Same here, the organisers were sensible as far as I'm concerned as a couple of blokes at the last trackday I did were hanging LARGE cams on the mounts!! Rather than decide on a size limit they were banning them altogether.
