Seems increasingly difficult to get a road/trackday policy combined these days, I know its not the best solution I.e if I claim on a trackday I loose my no claims.

Individual day bookings are costly with Morris for example.

Classicline seemed to be the go to but their prices have gone up by 30% plus on the actual policy and over 100% on daily premium.

Anyone found any alternatives?

Brave (though I guess it depends your attitude to risk, and the value of your car vs your income/networth...)

I just suck it up and insure with Morris.

If I crash its on me, if someone crashes into to me, thats a roll of the dice I won't be taking on someone else's abilities and judgement

Yeah depends. Am yet to decide a car I've taken on track is worth insuring yet. If my car value exceeds £10k I will consider insurance - but so far over 60 trackdays I've probably saved at least 6 grand in insurance costs.

That's the insurance game all over, home, car, business, looks expensive when you're not claiming.

Anyway, any gems on who's offering road/track polices combined?

REIS, Howden, Adrian Flux and Footman James certainly do combined Caterham policies. And I was with Henderson Taylor when I had my Elise.

When I was looking in the summer, Henderson Taylor were the only provider who would include track cover for me. Premium was £350 more than my Classic Line renewal without for 5 track days. That was on an agreed value policy on a modified Lotus Elise. My car is fairly niche and I've not owned it long, so you might find more on offer.

I didn't think it was worth it factoring in the high excess, and how I tend to drive on track days (not on the ragged edge).

Insure My Track Day have been pretty good, reasonably priced for pay as you go and is run by Ryan Motorsport who are well regarded.
