Hoon with Subaru

Fancy tracking it in a Scoobie?

Hoon with Subaru

Subaru is offering its full model range for evaluation on four different purpose-built tracks including a high-speed route, skid-pan, tarmac rally stage and off-road course.

Cars available for testing include the iconic 227bhp Impreza WRX and 276bhp WRX STI, Legacy 3.0R spec.B which develops 242bhp and the 227bhp Forester 2.5 XT and 156bhp Forester 2.0.

In the interests of safety, all drivers will be accompanied by a professional driver who will provide guidance on getting the best from the car.

Organised in partnership with Prodrive, a Drive Days voucher costs £250 including breakfast and lunch and lasts a full day. The voucher is then redeemed for a suitable date either during the week or at weekends.

‘Drive Days’ is based at Prodrive’s 240 acre proving ground in Kenilworth, Warwickshire – about eight miles from Birmingham’s NEC.

Anyone over 18 years old is eligible providing they have held a full driving licence for 12 months, are between 5ft 2 ins and 6 ft 7 ins tall and weigh less than 18 stone.

Voucher applications can be made by phoning 01676 536191 or from subarudrivedays@prodrive.com

I just contacted Prodrive on their normal Warick number as neither the email address or phone number in this article work. They are not quite ready as they have not set dates for the events yet, I was asked to call again in about a month.
