Anyone know of a way to get into racing but pay to be run by a team rather than buy a car and a trailer and a house with a garage and and and? I vaguely remember talking to a guy who said that before he bought his formula ford, he paid to drive a car on a race by race basis...

Thanks

Merritt

There are various teams and owners around that can provide you with this option. If you look in the motorsport section of the PH classifieds you can find things like this:

www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/82214.htm (I wish I had £4500 spare!)

or

www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/79667.htm

Silverstone do a Formula Ford arrive and drive option. Contact Silverstone Racing School for info.
There are two events coming up shortly... one on the National Circuit and the other on Stowe circuit.

My MX5 is for hire with me running it if thats any help. PM if I can be any help. I can't give any fancy team frills just a professionaly built car with a proven record for being one the fastest on the grid.

Dunno if Richard Moore is still after another body to put in his Civic Type R?

I should think Topcats Racing would sort you out, too;
