Yes, very sad. But thankfully not typical.

I wouldn't want anyone to get any pre-suppositions about the ring from this. I spent
this last weekend there, racing Saturday and doing the usual tourist driving on Sunday
and the atmosphere and friendliness was fantastic, real driving enthusiasts together,
it's almost worth going for the social side alone.
