Myself, Gilly, Danny and Joolz have our own mini convoy going on the 13:15 Dover Calais departure ... anybody else on that one?

Our thinking was, the cold beers are waiting, so why hang about!

And our thinking was: oh good, Andrew, Danny, Gilly and Joolz will have lined the beers up for us when we arrive.

We'll have finished the beers! And got the best parking spaces. And the sunbeds by the pool! And the best lines on the race track!

Surely you'll be running your pit crew through their tyre changing drills and plugging in the tyre warmers won't you Danny?

Ask him about his special laser device (which of course I want to borrow)

PS. What's this concept of "lining up the cold beers" then?

We're on/in the tunnel around 12:15, blue N reg'd Chimaera.

Wave if you see us stranded on the M20. One of my rear brakes has decided to bind - smoked like a good 'un last night on the A404 (thought it was on fire for a moment) - must remember not to do 140 up the hill while bedding in the rear pads - I blame a pesky XJR myself. Typical how these things happen just before you really need the car innit?

Good luck! You won't mistake us, we're a convoy of an R reg Starmist Blue Chim (Gilly), a black BMW towing a black SR3 (Danny) and a blue Passat towing a red SR3 (me)

Ah! Good thing you reminded me. So if we're going to meet up with you guys, that means we'll go anti clock wise around the M25 - does that make sense? AA route planner wants to go clock wise, says it's 2 hours door to door, in which case meet at Maidstone?

Actually, looking at a map, clock wise makes sense for you too, so how about meeting up in the South Mimms services? I'll be in the petrol station filling up all my Jerry cans :-)

why on earth would you buy your petrol in this country when on the way to France?
