Excellent trip to Le Mans. Hello to everyone that was there.

Photos online:

HERE

Would love to see photos taken by anyone else on this trip.

I'm working on my video of the track action. In the meantime, see the following on YouTube:

GT3 Cup Radical Porsche 996 at Le Mans Bugatti

A special note of thanks to the helpful French hotel manager who persuaded the local Citroen dealer to open up after hours to sell fuel to a certain Porsche driver who was almost out of L’essence sans plomb 98! wobble

Great photos. i've got video of you and others on the straight - will edit and upload soon. hope the steering is fixed.

Jensen driver and passenger walked away! Unbelievable! Very very lucky.

Great - I look forward to seeing them.

Yes the steering was fixed by MB at Le Mans. The day was good but I did feel a little let down by the organisers of the day. Their website said that mechanical backup is available on all trackdays as was photogrphy but I didn't get much help at all. After waiting two hours for the "mechanic" to get back from lunch I phoned MB help and they sorted it. In future I will stick to other organisers like RMA.

What was your impression?

Hi one and all, good to meet you at what was possibly something of a one off given the size of bath the organisers took on the day it would appear. With just 20 or so cars I can’t imagine it would be repeated anytime soon

None the less I was a little disappointed with certain aspects of the day, we paid for a pit garage and didn’t get one, not that it mattered that much but when sir pays his money……

The Jensen incident was quite frankly staggering; they can count themselves very lucky indeed. To my mind one look over that car and the experience of the drivers would have had me running for cover. When the thing arrived its rear right tyre was very short of puff and which one when ping? You’ve guessed it.

Disappointing to read about the lack of help with the AMG as well and point taken about using RMA

For me having a session in the ‘Big Green Machine’ in the guise of the Ford Falcon made my day, what an absolute hoot of a car to travel in, shame you can’t get one easily over here.

Hi Rob

Do look at the pics of your car I posted - and thanks for giving Alex a ride. It's good for him to feel the differences of the cars eg weight transfer etc.

I'm hoping others who attended will post their photos.

agtlaw is going to post a video soon - can't wait.

Peter

Some great ‘Ring’ pics, but what was the yellow thing being pulled out of the undergrowth? Far more difficult to work out than the Le Mans Jensen

Great pics. If you have the time you should book to do the Ring on an RMA trackday - only 99 odd other cars and two days workth of track time.

Their next dates on November 8 and 9 I think. I can't do them but did so last year and had a ball! (I have no connection to RMA)
