I'm thinking of coming albeit as a spectator!
Just bought a track preppared 205 MI16 and was looking forward to a trip to Goodwood in it but alas all booked up. I'm pretty new to track days so am going along to have a look how it all works etc etc.

Are you going in your Noble? Looks lovely thumbup

Jonny.

Thanks smile. Yup taking the noble (assuming it passes the noise test) - want to see how it compares with the last car I took there (RX-8).

Worth going to spectate, partly cos there's always loads of cars to ogle at, but its not hugely complex.

Don't know which side of Goodwood you are but there are quite a few more track days on some of the other circuits - try trackdays.co.uk or bookatrack.com

I'd offer to take you out (ooh err) but I have a passenger for the day already - a mate who I'm trying to convince to join me in a mad hobby of razzing round tracks all weekend wink

Booking can, as far as I know, only be done through them direct; at http://www.goodwood.co.uk/circuithire/

Costs are usually £140/halfday or £270 for a full day. Not cheap, but thats for only 5 or 10 cars on track at a time (2.2 mile circuit), helmet hire is also free.

Unfortunately no spaces left for the dates coming up this year - think its spring before there'll be any more. Maybe worth phoning them for cancellations though...

Was a good day (afternoon), although only got to go out for 3 sessions due to a mad rush for petrol after the first two. Thirsty car frown
