What would be the best fuel for track day use?

Something like Shell v-power is what I would assume, but are there any other generally available alternatives that would be any better? Or would these just cause more headaches - like needing to re-map your engine to the specific fuel, risk to internal engine damage, etc?

Alternatively, what about any widely available fuel additives?

Presume you're running the 996 Bob, in which case I don't think you'll notice any appreciable performance difference between ordinary 95 unleaded, and a 97 or 98 octane 'super'.

However, it seems to be accepted that Shell V-Power is a good quality fuel with worthwhile additives that can help engines run cleaner and more effeiciently, but you need to use it at least semi-regularly to get the benifit.

Yep, and am filling up with V-Power every time. Just wondered if there were any other recommendations.
