spa top speed

racing at spa in a few weeks and trying to sort out my gearing.I get to 160 mph at silverstone gp circut which is flat out with my gearing now ,is spa faster as it is up hill any one got any info thanks

Well I was a complete girl and entering Eau-rouge at 100mph. The straight after that is quite long, plus the downhill section with the double apex left hander is fast along with the last complex before the old Bus-stop.

We got 270kph/167mph at the end of the Kemel straight at the Spa 24 hours in the 997 RSR.

I enjoy trackdays and do quite a few, but I'm a long long way from being a competitive racer, but my point of view if at all useful is that Spa was a huge amount faster than Silverstone for me... On a wet day, running relatively low boost my car was still comfortably hitting 150 at Spa, in the same circumstances I wouldnt do anywhere near that at Silverstone.

Spa is a fantastic track, my personal lasting impression was how immensely fast it was, truly one the most enjoyable things I've experienced.

hi sean have you been to silverstone gp if so what speed were you doing there,we are running a tvr sagaris with 400bhp weighing in at 985kg with driver at silverstone we were doing 160mph and the car will do about 165 reving the life out of it with our gearing thanks darren

Yeah of course I have We were there for round 2 of the FIA GT championship this year! Our top speed there was 246kph/156mph. I am going by the result sheets by the way, as I do not have the data on hand, but those are the speeds near the end of the kemel straigth and the hanger straight.

The RSR is 520hp and is 1250 without driver, but has a lot of downforce, so it limits the top speed of the car. I would guess our top speed would be pretty similar then?
