Many thanks for your advice and guidance.
First race last weekend, Silverstone National.
Finished both, qualified 15th out of 17, finished 11th.
My aim was to finish which would have been a result whatever happened.
As to a hlmet, bought one last week
Hi Ashley, thanks for the update, and I have just looked on MST timing & that looks like a very respectable result for your first race. As you say, just finishing is a result to be happy with, and to finish close to midfield is good!! Maybe you would keep me informed of your progress, and if I can be of assistance in any way, feel free to give me a call, HowardFirst race last weekend, Silverstone National.

Time looked a bit inconsistent.
Last few laps could not find 3rd gear at Maggots and Brooklands. Was in 10th till this happened.
When I arrived in the pits the gear lever fell off
, this was the first race, second race I had no chance, monstered by all but I had fun.

Fun is what it is all about, .... when it isn't fun, ... move on! HowardLast few laps could not find 3rd gear at Maggots and Brooklands.
