Track Day insurance

Lined up my 360 spider for my first track day this week-end. Asked my insurer for a quote to cover this, they are not interested. Any suggestions for track day cover?

You will be best off moving your policy to them, track day insurance comes free with policy.
The excess is low and their policy for my porsche was cheaper than other quotes without the track day bit.
Hope they do Ferrari's!

People like Competition Car Insurance/Eggar Lawson do specific track insurance. From memory it costs about £50 per £5000 cover with quite a big excess. The idea is that you work out the biggest likely accident cost and insure for that as to get full cover for an expensive car is pretty er expensive. For example, 10k would cover the cost of most repairs to a Caterham and cost circa £100. Bit more expensive for a 360!

I haven't used them in a while so the prices may have changed.

Thanks chaps. I asked my insurer again (pleaded actually)and they came back with £180 for the day and £7.5k excess. Fit a laff yi get wi Italian exotica. Could have sent the bairns off ti Lapland etc, nag, etc.
