Hello again all. I want to take my car on a trackday, but it's not road registered. will that be a problem? I'm sure some people out there must have dedicated track tools?

A cheap testing day? Of course no problem - just cough up & remove your mirrors. hehe

Kinda, well I've dived feet first into RGB racing, never done it before, and not done a trackday either (though I have done some karting, though not competitively so I want to firstly get track experience (obviously) and also get used to how to use the car, when I got my 911 I spent a couple of thousand miles seeing what it could do; as safe as I possibly could of coure, eg trying out max braking from speed down an arrow-straight and deserted country road. As much as I like to think I'm a "fast road driver" let's face it, the public highway is no place to really stretch yourself, so I sold it and bought a Fisher Fury.

I'm going to be on the open pit lane trackday at snetterton on the 19th, so feel free to come and say hello/tell me off.

I take my (non road registered) Radical to many track days. They are not allowed at airfields as far as I can tell, but most proper track days are happy with them. Check with the organisers if you are unsure.

Going from last saturday, they are allowed at Brunters. There even were a couple of LMA Euro Saloons there!

that's good, a few more places to go. The ones that came to mind are the Motorsports Events days at places like Hullavington which only allow road registered cars. Then there's the noise restrictions!
