How many outings/laps on one trackday??
Discussion
Around 4-5 times, driving most of the time so like 30 or more laps at a time (i dont pay for openpitlane to stop driving after 15-20 mins, and thank you my 20 y.o. car's brakes don't overheat, actually better to cool them down while driving)

Im quessing that 8 times a day is ok?
Hi Phil, guessing by your username, you'll be driving an Evo?? Around Oulton in anything like an Evo or Impreza, three laps will equate to one gallon of fuel, and three laps will take around seven minutes. By my calculation, over eight fifteen minute sessions, you could expect to pay around £80 in fuel alone, plus the cost of brake pads, discs, and tyres, and that will depend upon how hard you are pushing on!! Remember eight fifteen minute sessions is only two hours of driving!! Hope this helps, Howard

When i'm out o track i try to do mas many open pit lane days as possible .. and my car isuaully out for anything up to an hour at a time, the car just soaks it up and only ever needs to stop really for refuelling. If i could drive solid for 6 hours i would lol
Driving 5 or 6 laps and having to come in because of tired brakes etc would drive me potty, what's the point of taking a car on track that isnt capable of taking the stresses? you're missing out on so much by tracking a heavy barge.

(according to my in car camera, afterwards
) So 15/20 mins is enough for me,and my passenger!!
£80 of fuel!!! i wish....i take £120 and its all gone by the end.
5-8mpg around a track!!
Trackcar..my brakes are fine
......1 hour on track at a time
My oil temps are getting over 120 degrees after 20 mins,so thats enough
Bigger oil cooler needed
