Ferrari Experience Silverstone

A quick post to highly recommend the Ferrari Experience at Silverstone.

I went up last Friday and it was an excellent experience, helped by knowledgeble and friendly staff.

The afternoon began with a (brief) briefing, followed by an out lap by an instructor in an Exige. This was followed by four laps in the Exige (190 version) where you were allowed to drive the vehicle as fast or slow as you wanted. The instruction was clear and I was encouraged to use the as it was designed.

After the Exige was the ferrari 360 drive. Again the instructor was keen to allow me to enjoy the car as opposed to merely pilot it around.

The last part of the day was a high speed demonstration lap in an Exige 220, driven by a currennt racing driver, it was fast, mostly sideways and totaly awesome!!

I booked last minute for the deal half price £110. Sorry for lack of pictures and a possible re-post, but I highly recommend it for a day out!!

How do you book these events?
Do I call Silverstone directly?
I am looking at Elige and Ferrari Track Day Events.
I am new to the UK but have over 3 years of Porsche DE in the US, so I'd like to really drive the cars.

Simply go onto the Silverstone Website, and then ring when spaces are available. The usual price is 220 pounds, however if you look some deals are last minute and half price.

I see this all the time at oulton park ferrari 355 doing 60 mph round the track with a granny driving
£200 for 3 laps one hot 65mph.
