I enjoyed the morning on track but then at Cascades this happened. Doh.
Definite block, gearbox, radiator, starter and quite possibly the head. Strange she was flying just prior to this.

Give me this over Holby City any day! Sorry for your woes bro, but bet you'll be out fighting again soon. Good luck. Definite block, gearbox, radiator, starter and quite possibly the head. Strange she was flying just prior to this.

PS. OP. If you drive like you take shots, you have a wonderous time ahead of you.
Enjoy, my friend.

The frightening prospect for other track day goers is that I am considerably nearer to David Bailey than I am Michael Schumacher.Enjoy, my friend.

PVFCPUG,
Sorry to hear 'bout your engine. We thought about dry sumping ours a long time ago, but costs were just prohibitive. In the end went for a Skip Brown baffled sump on our 8v, in addition we fitted a proper oil pressure gauge along with a fuel cut such that if the oil pressure drops completely then it cuts the fuel. Was really fitted in case of heavy accident and we end up severing a fuel line as I think the fuel pump continues when the ignition is on & engine off.
Good luck.
BS.

I was there in the dark green Westfield, with my brother and a novice driver. Respect to the new style M3, which apart from the radicals was I think the only thing faster on the day. Also the white 205, although my Westie was faster it was not by much! Edited to say faster than the cars we came up against. Well except perhaps the cars we did not directly come up against.

Werewolf: The engine is a 2.0 Ford Zetec, but on twin 45 webers and various other mods to give it around 180bhp at the flywheel. Also very firm suspension, but a live axle as it is an SE not an SEIW. My brother and I wring the maximum out of it, but my brother in law is still learning (had a spin at the first chicane). Whenever I came up against you I enjoyed the tussle, you gave way only when it was clear that you must, I commented to my brother that I had enjoyed racing you, and I was not much faster.
