I was there in the red TVR Tasmin racer. Had a spin first time out at the chicane (got a bit giddy on the exit) and went off roading once at lodge but managed to hold it. Interesting morning on Toyo R888s. Track dried out by mid morning and just got better and better. A really good day.

No photos unfortunately.

What were you driving?

ntel, I think I may have some red tvr paint on my nice silver Alfa front bumper.... nearly .. he he. Great Tasmin btw

60 mph on the grass eh? We recommend the tarmac as it has slightly more grip!

Well my first trackday today - never actually drove but was lucky enough to be a passenger - i'm hooked. Its quite addictive isn't it?

Went out for a few laps in a Silver Subaru Impreza (Cheers Al) went off at Druids although just really slid onto the grass so was quite lucky really. later on Dai a.k.a. Supertouring took me out in his Clio Cup racecar - what can i say but fook me, totally scrambled my brain on how a fwd car can handle and brake, nothing and i mean nothing overtook us.
Never experienced grip like it

massive respect

cheers guys for a great day.

Now i'm hooked.

Who saw the coming together of the V6 Vectra and the Leon? that Vectra was a lucky bloke.

I was out in my little yellow Fury in the morning I could only get a place for the AM session.
It went like stink once we got some dry track, was a bit hairy on the brakes in the wet on Toyo 888s & old 048R yokos first thing!
This is the first time we had it running proper and it's little 919cc engine was screaming round the revcounter - can't wait for the next one.
Great chatting to a few people to - loved that Ferrari engined Stratos.
Thanks to everyone who let us past!
It was my dads birthday so he even had a go and loved it.

OMG! Anybody get any pics of that? Was it a replica or the real deal?

Oulton Rocks btw. Could quite possibly be the best circuit in the uk. But then again Cadwell....
