I went along but had only 2 laps before it was game overfrown Not sure what went wrong but it was pissing smoke out from under the bonnet.. After stopping in the pits and lifting the bonnet i nearly had a heart attack after seeing flames from the back turbo areafrown Luckily a marshall had clocked what was going on and had a fire extinguisher to hand but the fire died very quickly as it was just the oil on the hot turbo/maniflold.. I was worried it might be something really serious but i'm hoping it's either a split hose or because it was overfilled with oil.. Whatever it is the car was fine doing the 2+hour journey home and still has too much oil in.. Going to clean and polish it today - that'll fix itwink

Was so frustrated at not being able to play with all those lovely cars that were there.. In my first and only session i had some brilliant sport with a 911GTR RS.. Not long after passing him he came past the smoke screen that was my carfrown

Many thanks to the folk that gave me passenger rides! BmwM3 smg, 550bhp subaru and what really made my day - being driven round with Olly Clark (son of Roger Clark!!). What an incredible driver! I'd seen him drive in time attack and couldn't believe my luck when he offered to take me round as a passengersmile

Enjoyed the day apart from the cars troubles..

Musn't grumble - first time in 30+ trackdays the car's let me downsmile

I was at this - a greatday out - nice and dry and seemed like a good bunch of people !

memorable moments include some good sport with a well driven Sagaris, following a yellow elise s1 with flames popping out of the back, and one of the instructors taking me for a couple of laps in my own car to show me how it should be driven........think I need a lot more coaching !!

Shame about the Exige S1 hitting the barrier late in the day - looked like a fair bit of damage - hope the driver was OK ! ?

red NSX was my friend mo and he does drive it well. Its a lovely car and sounds great in the cabin. He's got the type r suspension. but engine is standard.
