Track-club taster days?
Discussion
These taster days are great value. For less than £300 you get a whole day driving fast cars, and you get to have fun in them, unlike some 'experience days' I've done.
I got to go out in all 5 cars available - for about 15-20 minutes each - and was instructed to push it a bit by the instructor when I was going too slow in the Caterham CSR (felt fast enough to me though!).

I did a couple of these to suss things out before I joined the club, they were really good value, and nice and relaxed i.e. you didn't feel like you were in a sausage factory getting shepherded about and going to miss your chance if you popped out for a cup of tea.
Plenty of driving time, good instructors etc. if you are thinking of joining then you probably will after one of these days, if you just want to drive a few cars then they are better value than most of the so called driving experiences around.

I'm going to the Bedford day as well, I did one of their Bruntingthorpe events a couple of years ago when I was thinking of membership but I ended up working abroad for a year so didn't do it. The taster event at Brunters was great though with an excellent autotest competition thrown in that I won a bottle of good champagne on. I've asked if they are going to do any Brunters days again with the autotest and apparently they are, probably in March.
