Yep, i'm going in a newly acquired 205 mi16. There's quite a few 205's coming from one of the owners clubs so should be a good day. Feel free to pop over and say hello!

Now all I need to do is get the thing back on the road!

I'll be in the white one with the slightly chav wheels (quite worryingly.. i'm growing to like them!)
There's a pic now on my profile.

Would be great to get a ride in the Integra as well so pop over on the day and i'll be happy to take you for a spin in the pug! (We will be spinning, as its got the worst tyres i've ever used on it... gonna run them into the ground before sorting it out for the summer)

If your car is marginal for the noise test, you will need to do something about this before you turn up tomorrow. Bedford Autodrome have had a sudden death policy for the "drive-by" noise testing forced upon them, one black flag and you will be going home!

Last weekend, a number of cars that had previously been OK at the circuit were flagged and sent home. The circuit staff are also on the lookout for people trying to "cheat the meters" by short shifting or lifting off.

So: if you have a quieter muffler, can put the cat back, or even stick a stock system back on you car, you would be well advised to do so. Easy track's web site refers to the static test (101dB), but makes no mention of the drive-by testing? (I am assuming they have E mailed or otherwise contacted everyone booked on this day) Hopefully this message will re-enforce any warnings participants have already recieved.

B.T.W I think 13 or 14 cars were ecluded last weekend out of 58 starters.

I am there in a 996 Turbo, which should be fine for noise.

But, on the LOT event last week about 15 were thrown off indeed. I think there will be at least 30 going home tommorow.

I've had a new 2 box system fitted to the mi last week as I wanted it as quiet as possible so fingers crossed as it's not been noise tested yet.

It'll definately be fine for the static but it's always a worry that they're saying they won't give anyone a second chance if you break the driveby limit.
