Decided to try a track day @ Snetterton and wondered in any other PH'er were going to be there ?

As it's my first track day in my own car I'll be the one driving like Miss Daisy round the track !!

Does anyone have any tips for a total track day novice apart from "pack a spare pair of pants as you might need them"

Have fun!

Get some instruction, but make sure you get a good instructor as I guess it's a MSV novice day?...

It is indeed Sean , I've paid 25 quid for an instructor but I think they get allocated when you get there.

Is there anyone you can suggest I should ask for ?

Depends who is there. MSV only have a few good one's, so it's luck of the draw really...

Have a good day smile

You'll like snetterton as a first track experience. It's fast, easy to learn and not too challenging. It's a little bit characterless compared to places like Donnington and Brands but you'll still have a great time. Turn 2 is awesome to drift through and the final long right hander before the chicane is a good challenge. Have fun!

Agree nice easy track to learn and for your mates to watch. Keep a eye on your tyre pressures as you may have to bleed them as they get hot.
Hope to be there to try new camera out so hoping rain keeps away.
Have fun and keep it on the black stuff.

Smitcol , look forward to seeing you there. I'll be in a rather dirty 993 as I drove it up to the Pistonheads show and haven't had a chance to clean it.
