Good value driving day
Discussion
Hi,
Can anyone recommend a driving day that is actually fairl good value for money?
I would like to do a dring day where I get about 15/20 laps with an instructor. I don't care to much about the car, as long as it's fairly good, BMW, Lotus, Clio Sport, etc.
Any recommendations? Don't really want to pay more than £150, but can stretch a bit further.
Thanks again.

I am meant to be collecting my track day car soon, a nice little 106 rallye. In the mean time I would like to go on a track day with a friend, I don't want him (or me, although that would be slightly more bearable)stuffing the boxster into a gravel pit or anything. Plus the cost of tyres, etc. I think it would be cheaper for me if we just do a track day in someone elses car.
May not seem to make sense to everyone, but it does to me.

Have a word with Sean Edwards if you go with a mate you could split the cost there
and it may work out for you both .

Its going to end up cheaper doing it in the Boxter actually and if you're worried about gravel ect, we can go to a safe track like Bedford GT, where you can both have a great time, with piece of mind.
In the 100's of track days I have done, only one of my clients has ended up in the gravel, and that was on my very first day as a private instructor!
If you're set on renting, then an Elise from track club is £645 for the day, inc insurance, transportation and fuel.
Drop me an e-mail for more info.
